The problem definition
Low awareness of the brand despite the brand's presence in the Dadar - Mahim micro market for over 3 decades and worked with reputed institutions and done many redevelopment projects. Hence, difficulty in getting the true value price for their projects viz a viz other established brands in that micro-market.
The rebranding objective
Establishing the credentials of Suraj – the brand’s Legacy / no. of projects done and executed and showcase the brand’s deep roots in the Dadar micro market.

Suraj Estate Developers entrusted CoLab to create the core positioning and the brand identity for The Palette, a 35 storey residential high rise built by world-renowned architect, Ar. Sanjay Puri. The project involved arriving a clearly defined positioning encapsulated in 3 words "Spacious. Scenic. Social".
THE PROCESS
The branding for The Palette was a 2-month collaboration between the developer, the design team and the architect to arrive at a distinct identity that would be very “unreal estate” like and one which can give a vibe of casual sophistication to the project. A coffee-table book targeting investors and HNIs was established for the project to elevate its profile and differentiate it from the multiple other projects in the vicinity.

CoLab won the mandate to handle the branding duties of a new upcoming twin residential tower in the bustling neighbourhood of Borivali East. Infused with the positioning theme of “LIVE THE PRIME LIFE” that was crafted to leverage the projects’ location, the execution involved creating a graphic language besides the marketing collateral and the site office branding.
